Blackall Range maker, Paul Reilly enjoys combining Australian timbers with traditional construction. This 11" pot banjo has a 25.5" scale length making it easier on the left shoulder. Using Qld Maple and stunning Otway Ranges Blackwood this nickel plated open back is a joy to play.

Qld Maple neck with Burdekin Plum fingerboard and simple dot fret markers. Block construction pot veneered with Blackwood inside and out. Blackwood tonering. Traditional dowelstick with plaque reading Witta Banjos 2022. Highly figured Tasmanian Musk burl peghead overlay and heel cap. Hand rubbed danish oil finish. Buffalo bone nut and fifth string pip secured with downward string pressure only. (Should the owner wish to change from steel strings to nylon.) Scalloped frailing scoop for easy round peak clawhammer. 24 bracket hooks. 5-Star tuning pegs. 11" Amber Elite head. 5/8" White Swallow maple/ironbark bridge.
