GIBSON RB3 - WREATH - S/No: 3-0209-03 - Sold

Gibson banjos are at the heart of the legend of bluegrass music along with names such as Earl Scruggs, the father of bluegrass banjo. Most other bluegrass banjo makers have followed the Gibson construction methods and measurements. The name 'Mastertone' is a hallmark. Gibson stopped making banjos in 2010 but they're still held in awe and hold their price. Some models are actually increasing in value.

To find an RB3 in such excellent condition is rare. Tone ring, flange, rim, neck, etc have been verified (pictures enclosed) as genuine Gibson. No fretwear. Discounting a few patina marks it's like new. The owner bought this banjo from Janet Davis Music on a visit to USA. (Verified by receipt). After bringing it back to Australia he played it a few hours, tucked it under the bed, and left it there.

Grab yourself a playable bluegrass legend. $5700.00 AUD - Sold
