This USA luthier (1949-2020) is renowned for his detailed workmanship. His formulas for tone rings produced a traditional pre-war sound. His specialised creations are owned by some of the biggest names in bluegrass. He repaired, restored and constructed thousands of banjos in his lifetime. This Custom model in walnut is an outstanding example of Robin Smith's legacy to enthusiastic pickers.

Rickard 10 - 1 tuners. Gotoh 5th peg. Walnut resonator with double purfling rings. Purcell 5/8" bridge. Huber frosted head.
