Surprising amount of volume for what feels like a small banjo. Walnut block rim construction pot and one-piece neck with walnut dowel stick. 11" pot, frailing scoop, bracket hooks carefully positioned away from the pot capping, and Zach Hoyt's hand-made walnut armrest for player comfort.
Hand made in USA this banjo has a deep, loud voice and an easy action. Imported in 2021 this custom version of Zach's popular model includes several non-standard inclusions. K & K Twin Spot piezo pickup. White Swallow Big Foot bridge, antiqued brass hardware, gotoh black-button geared tuning pegs. At 23 3/4" scale length it's very cosy to play especially for those with a shorter reach. Fingerboard measures 1 3/8" at the nut - wider string spacing than standard by 1/4" - get those C chords with room to spare!
