FINGERSTYLE/WHITE SWALLOW 'VINTAGE' A-SCALE OPEN-BACK

BANJO - V281- NEW - Sold

A-scale open-back banjos are extremely popular in USA. In response to the demand for an Australian made A-scale, Fingerstyle has designed this delightful 'Vintage' model .

THIS ONE HAS:
Steel strings. Geared tuning pegs. Spikes at 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th frets. Frailing scoop. 25" scale neck of surian with cocobolo fingerboard. Ironbark tone ring. Walnut/Surian 11" pot. Short tailpiece. Fancy headstock with mop 'V' logo. Diamond mop fret marker inlays. Purple heart bridge. Wooden armrest for your playing comfort.

A-scale banjos feel very comfortable to play having a slightly shorter neck. Clawhammer players will be delighted with the authentic old-timey sound.

Macassar ebony is a very hard wood of black/brown that softly tones to streaky blonde.
Surian is a non rain-forest long-grain wood often used instead of mahogany.
All woods used in Fingerstyle/White Swallow Vintage models are environmentally friendly.

(See picture below of the Vintage model at 25" scale length next to standard White Swallow at 26 1/4" for size comparison.)

A beautifully balanced instrument, weight-wise and playing-wise, with perfect intonation - a joy to play. In quality mock-croc case, $2190.00 AUD. (Freight and insurance in Australia, approx $90.00) - Sold
