Made by South Australia craftsman Alan Funk, these banjos have block-rims (very solid) of maple and oak, dual co-ordinator rods and stainless steel tailpiece.  Alan celebrates an Australian theme with a red gum fingerboard with pearl inlays and mother-of-pearl nut.  As a banjo-playing engineer you can count on the integrity of construction, strength and  terrific sound of his instruments.  He also makes most metal parts himself.

Pro players comment favourably on the slim necks, robust construction (can't kill 'em with a stick!  and that goes for airlines too!) and rich sound across the tonal range.  Also, they're a lighter weight to bear - his innovative techniques avoid heavy cast tone rings.  Try 'em, and you'll be a convert!

With hard case. $1825.00.oz flag
