Very good to excellent condition. Natural finish, maple neck with centre contrasting stripe. Maple rim, tortoise plastic binding on inside and outside of rim cap.

Bound ebony fretboard with no nail gouges and plenty of fretwear to go. 1-1/4" nut, 27" scale. Dot and star inlays, 22 frets. Real skin head by acclaimed maker, signed 'Joe B. Rogers Jnr'. 28 brackets and shoes (on band), Whyte Laydie tone ring. No Knot tailpiece, headstock features star inlay. Waverly geared tuners including 5th string peg. Serial number in pot is 79999 dating it as genuine 1928 Vega No. 2.
