This larger pot open-back has volume and resonance to thrill all who love the old timey sounds of clawhammer banjo. Paul has hand selected choice materials, timbers and accessories to produce a stunning traditional instrument that excites all who play and hear it.
Rock maple neck and block construction rim finished inside and out with maple veneer. Contrasting ebony insert in back of neck. Ebony fingerboard and headstock veneer. Spikes at 7th, 9th and 10th frets. Ome brackets and Ome dome-head bracket nuts. No Knots tailpiece. Amber Elite skin and Purpleheart hand-crafted bridge. Hand wrought buffalo bone nut. Waverly ivoroid tuners. Chisel detail in the frailing scoop is a dramatic and good looking contrast. Constructed with traditional perch-rod and Flescher-concept steel reinforced neck.
