Excellent to 'as new' condition, this one has frosted nickel finish flange and half-plated, half-frosted nickel tension hoop. Post-production extra; frosted nickel Kershner tailpiece. Prucha bridge. Highly figured Maple neck. Solid carved and shaped maple 'Massif' resonator. Radiused Ebony fingerboard with abalone "Bat" inlays. Multiple tortoiseshell-look bindings 'back-lit' with white binding layer beneath. Wooden marquetry purfling on sides of resonator and fingerboard.
Built december 2010 this sensational top tension frosted-nickel super-banjo has radius fingerboard, abalone inlays, abalone truss rod cover and prewar armrest system like the Gibson RB12.
