PRUCHA DIAMOND POINT - Pre-Loved - 2006 - Sold

Excellent to mint condition. Handcrafted by Czech maestro Jaroslav Prucha. His banjos are highly sought after and finishing detail is always superb.

Mahogany neck, tortoiseshell-look binding on mahogany resonator. Slightly radiused 22-fret ebony fingerboard. Abalone inlays. 1-1/4" nut width. 20-hole flathead tone ring. 3/8" three-ply maple rim. One-piece flange. Prucha Kerchner tailpiece. Quality geared tuners with amber-look buttons. Ebony headstock overlay with abalone logo and inlays. Spikes at 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th frets. Nickel hardware.

I have played this particular banjo for several hours and can tell you it has real flathead authority; clear, bell-like tones with rich, grunty midrange.

In plush-lined TKL case. On consignment $4500.00 AUD. - Sold
