PRUCHA BAT TOP-TENSION CUSTOM - Pre-Loved - 2004
Fingerstyle: Banjostore

Excellent Condition. A stunning example of Jaraslav Prucha's pristine craftsmanship - and not another like it!

Cherrywood neck and quilted cherry resonator with contrasting black-white-black binding. Ebony fingerboard double-bound and inlaid with pearl bat motifs. Chrome top-tension hoop and chrome armrest. Ptacek ivoroid tuning pegs. Price-style tailpiece and Moon bridge. Chromed flat head tonering and one-piece flange. Hand-signed by Jaroslav Prucha indicating S/No. 531 and dated March 2004. New Renaissance head and new GHS strings. Very well cared for and set up to pro standards.

Some even prestige name banjos can sound like two entirely different banjos when comparing the high fret notes to the open, Scruggs-type rolls. Prucha banjos are known and admired for their consistent volume and tone up and down the fingerboard. They are the choice of many US celebrities - especially those interested in achieving a high and reliable standard in the recording studio.

Owner is also offering an older, white Calton fibreglass pro case lined with red velvet. Case is in good condition inside and out - all clasps and hinges work no problem but perhaps needs stickers removed(?).

On Consignment, $6,800 AUD Now $4900 AUD negotiable.
