RUBICON MAPLE COMBO - NEW - 2014 - Sold

Terry Cook has come up with a banjo with the simplicity and light weight of an openback but the sound and playability of a bluegrass banjo!

Maple speed neck, Cherry block rim construction. 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard with stunning Abalone inlays. Bone nut. Headstock with Abalone inlays and copper truss rod cover. Custom-made Jarrah tailpiece. High density maple submerged timber bridge with ebony top. Dual coordinator rods. Remo Renaissance head. Nickel hardware and armrest. 5th string spike at 7th fret. The careful selection of woods and much experimentation with setup give this banjo good punch and clarity using picks for bluegrass.
