Made in USA by David and Paul Hopkins the Louzee Black Jack is a stunning black laquer over bound mahogany neck.
Mahogany resonator has concentric purfling rings. Ebony fingerboard features elaborate pearl inlay work designed by Mike Longworth (of Martin guitar fame). Highly aclaimed Tony Pass "Lost Timbre" block rim and Hopkins flathead tone ring are the heart of this prestige banjo. Gold plated engraved brass hardware. Spikes at 7th, 9th & 10th frets. Peghead is inlaid with pearl and tuners are Waverly two-band gold engraved and ivoroid buttons. 5th string peg is gold plated Five-Star with ivoroid button.
Submerged maple Hopkins bridge and quality AVS hard case. Some signs of wear in plating but otherwise in very good condition. On Consignment $4500 AUD - Now reduced to $4000.00 AUD - Sold
