Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard with Style 11 Pearl inlays. Ebony headstock with Style 11 pearl inlay. Bone Nut. Gotoh 2 band tuners. Pre-war style Mahogany resonator with double purfling rings made by Robin Smith of Heartland Banjos. Heartland 3 ply Maple rim. Dannick 20 Hole tone ring. Nickel Hardware. Presto tailpiece. No fret wear. Nada! This banjo is in mint condition!!!
The AMB Co has teamed up with instrument builder Robin Smith and player Charlie Cushman. Robin Smith is noted for his impeccable craftsmanship and expert eye when it comes to choice of woods. Add to that, Cushman's ability to get the right sound out of a banjo and this instrument represents professional workmanship with all the warmth and bite you'd expect from a mahogany top-shelf banjo.
