Ebony fingerboard with planets and stars inlays. Maple neck with dark centre stripe inlays, Rosewood headstock veneer and neck insert. Capped rock maple 3-ply rim has fancy inlay trim. Vega Tubaphone tone ring. These tone rings are justifiably famous in the old-timey banjo world. Touted by many as the ultimate banjo tone, it is prized for it's full, round and yet sparkling tone and for its depth and responsiveness.
Wood dowel stick with neck adjuster pivot. Geared tuning pegs. Waverly style tailpiece. Fibreskin head. Minimal fretwear. Very nicely set up and with the richest, mellow bass response we've heard in an 11" open-back.
