This Celebrity with flame maple neck and resonator with rosewood fingerboard has several sophisticated upgrades from the standard well-loved gold-plated Celebrity: Flying Eagles inlays, Fults XYZ Pro5 tailpiece, Heartlands no-hole tone ring and Keith gold-plated tuners with Keith de-tuners on 2nd and 3rd strings.

Arthur Hatfield (Hatfield Banjos) and Robin Smith (Heartlands Banjos) enjoy well deserved reputations as crafters of superb instruments and parts - including a lot of blood sweat and tears at the development stages.

Made in USA by David and Paul Hopkins the Louzee Black Jack is a stunning black laquer over bound mahogany neck.

Mahogany resonator has concentric purfling rings. Ebony fingerboard features elaborate pearl inlay work designed by Mike Longworth (of Martin guitar fame). Highly aclaimed Tony Pass "Lost Timbre" block rim and Hopkins flathead tone ring are the heart of this prestige banjo. Gold plated engraved brass hardware.

Submerged maple Hopkins bridge and quality AVS hard case. Some signs of wear in plating but otherwise in very good condition. On Consignment $4500 AUD - Now reduced to $4000.00 AUD
